Identify and reduce them, but don\u2019t eliminate them entirely\u2014after all, an occasional &#8220;um&#8221; makes you human.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another classic issue: <strong>the run-on sentence syndrome.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You know what I mean, right? Those speeches where one sentence leads to another without ever coming to a pause. Remember, you\u2019re not obligated to say everything in one sentence\u2014actually, you shouldn\u2019t.
