The MLC team was called upon to solve this challenge, creating a digital solution designed to accelerate and simplify each stage of the selection process.
We developed an interactive tool with a user-friendly design that revolutionized application management by centralizing information and automating repetitive tasks. The result? A much faster decision-making process that reduces the risk of errors and greatly improves efficiency, saving time and resources for the HR team.
cLIENT BACKGROUND
The client is a luxury Italian company known for its tradition of craftsmanship and innovation in textiles. With a long history of excellence in the production of tailored menswear, the company is distinguished by its use of fine fabrics and impeccable craftsmanship.
cHALLENGE
The client, having no centralized system for managing applications, was using several manual tools, which made it difficult to collect and organize information uniformly. The evaluation process was slow and error-prone, increasing the time needed to make decisions and reducing the overall effectiveness of selection.
MLC developed an interactive PDF for a renowned apparel brand, streamlining their recruitment process, making it faster and more accurate. The system improved the efficiency and reliability of assessments, streamlining the entire workflow.
The selection process was hampered by long lead times and manual errors, with data management being ineffective. A solution needed to be found that would improve the reliability and speed of assessments without compromising quality.
MLC developed an interactive PDF with advanced features and an internal navigation system. Through the strategic use of AI, we were able to speed up the process of coding the JavaScript code, reducing the project development time. Finally, the design team created an intuitive layout aligned with brand guidelines, simplifying compilation and improving the user experience.

SOLUTION
MLC Consulting developed an interactive PDF enhanced by automatic fields and automatic score calculation, improving information collection and analysis.
Through careful listening to the client’s needs and in-depth content strategy work, the need to simplify the data collection process emerged. The goal was to eliminate duplicate information and reduce compilation time, as well as to do so without compromising the accuracy of the analysis.
The success of a selection process depends on the ability to collect and analyze information in a structured and effective manner. Without a standardized format, the risk was that important data would be lost by basing assessments on inconsistent criteria. A system was needed that would not only speed up the process, but also ensure greater accuracy in final decisions.
After analyzing the client’s needs, understanding the process and gathering the content, the structure of the interactive PDF was developed. This included advanced functionality and an internal navigation system via index.
Data automation was achieved by implementing JavaScript code, enabling automatic insertion of information into all related pages.
Artificial Intelligence was a key support in this process, optimizing the coding phase. In fact, we managed to speed up the writing of JavaScript code for data automation, significantly decreasing the project development time.
Another strong point was the work of the design team, which created a layout that was clear, intuitive and perfectly aligned with the client’s brand guidelines. The graphical optimization greatly simplified the compilation and improved the overall user experience.
RESULTS
Implementation of the new tool led to a significant reduction in compilation time, allowing interviewers to speed up workflow and minimize manual errors. Data collection became more consistent and organized, increasing the reliability of the information collected.
The real added value was the introduction of an automated calculation system, a strategic insight that optimized candidate evaluation. This system accurately weighted the importance of each area of expertise, enabling a more accurate and targeted assessment, which made a difference in the selection process. This functionality was implemented within an interactive PDF designed to provide an optimized user experience and immediate usability.
Finally, the PDF was made available in two versions: interactive digital and printable, providing the flexibility to adapt to different user needs.
