SOLUTION

The workshop was structured as an integrated training path designed to bridge the gap between technical data analysis and the art of strategic storytelling.

By combining principles from cognitive science applied to slide design, MLC’s proprietary framework, and the targeted use of artificial intelligence, the course equipped MBA students with the tools to transform complex data into persuasive narratives.

The goal was to provide methodologies that could be immediately applied in business contexts, enhancing both internal and external communication and strengthening the students’ decision-making abilities.

​The MLC Approach


The MLC approach was at the core of the proposed transformation:

Targeted Analysis: Starting from the specific needs of the MBA students, and in close collaboration with the team at John Cabot University, a training roadmap was developed that combined theory with practical application.

Interactivity and Engagement: The workshop included interactive modules, data storytelling case studies, and follow-up webinar sessions, ensuring a high level of participation and the opportunity to test the techniques in real time.

Technological Innovation: The targeted use of artificial intelligence enabled the implementation of advanced prompting strategies, supporting the structuring and optimization of narratives.

Proprietary Framework: Through the MLC Lean Presentation Strategy Canvas, participants were able to analyze their audience, build effective stories, and integrate traditional tools like PowerPoint with innovative methods—making data communication not only informative but also strategically impactful.

The design process started by addressing the specific needs of MBA candidates and then moved on to developing theoretical modules and practical case studies:

Needs analysis in collaboration with the John Cabot University team.

Development of an interactive workshop that combined theory and practice: insights into cognitive sciences applied to slide design and the introduction of MLC’s proprietary framework for audience analysis and narrative construction.

Creation of two practical data storytelling case studies, followed by a follow-up webinar where Maurizio guided participants step by step in building the final solution, integrating innovative techniques and the use of artificial intelligence.

RESULTS

Acquisition of New Methodologies: Participants learned how to transform complex data into persuasive narratives using MLC’s proprietary strategic frameworks and AI prompting strategies focused on effectiveness.
