MLC Presentation Design Consulting partnered with the Marketing team at Lactalis Spain to launch an innovative AI adoption journey, introducing the AI Fluency Framework, a proprietary MLC methodology designed to build awareness, skills, and internal advocacy to accelerate the adoption of AI through Microsoft Copilot within the organization.
The project achieved outstanding results, transforming initial curiosity into conscious experimentation and laying the foundation for an innovation culture focused on developing AI Fluency.
cLIENT BACKGROUND
Lactalis is a global leader in the dairy industry, operating in over 100 countries. The Spanish marketing division stands out for its focus on innovation and adaptability. Following a leadership convention in Lisbon, where Maurizio La Cava introduced the potential of AI in communication and marketing, the Spanish team decided to explore the topic further through a customized program.
cHALLENGE
Although interest in AI was growing, the team demonstrated a strong innovation mindset and a deep desire to understand how artificial intelligence could concretely support their daily work. The challenge was to develop a shared language that aligned all team members on a common foundation, increase confidence in experimentation, and create a “snowball effect” of AI culture diffusion through the emergence of the first internal AI Advocates.
The brief was clear: focus on practicality, hands-on experience and real-world applications.
MLC supported Lactalis Spain in accelerating AI adoption through the AI Fluency Framework, helping the marketing team turn curiosity into confident, practical use of Microsoft Copilot.
The team needed to build a shared understanding of AI, boost confidence in experimentation, and create internal advocates to drive adoption across the organization.
A live workshop and follow-up webinar combined hands-on exercises, real use cases, and MLC’s proprietary frameworks to develop skills, mindset, and internal momentum.
Confidence in AI tools rose from 3/5 to 5/5 and 100% of participants rated the training 5/5. AI is now seen as a collaborative partner in daily work.

SOLUTION
The training followed a streamlined and immersive structure: short theoretical insights, live demonstrations, individual exercises and group work.
Participants explored real prompts, image generation, data analysis with AI and storytelling techniques guided by MLC’s proprietary frameworks such as the Prompt Formula and the AI Fluency Pyramid.
The first live workshop concluded with the creation of a complete business case, where teams applied what they had learned to generate insights and visual storytelling powered by AI.
MLC introduced the AI Fluency Framework, a structured methodology that helps organizations develop a culture of AI adoption through four progressive phases: Awareness, Approach, Application, and Advocacy.
The project unfolded in two main steps: an initial in-person workshop in Madrid to kick off the initiative, followed by a webinar where selected participants learned to create and share AI use cases relevant to their work.
The initial workshop combined interactive knowledge-sharing moments, guided exercises, and real-world applications, enabling participants to use AI in their daily challenges and experience the transformative potential of human-AI collaboration.
The webinar, led by the MLC team, was crucial in identifying the first AI Advocates, certifying them, and launching a structured internal process to spread AI Fluency.
The initial survey revealed a strong interest in exploring AI’s potential in a practical way, with minimal theory. However, early attempts at prompting tools like Microsoft Copilot often led to frustration and lack of trust.
A hands-on, iterative approach was needed to build awareness that making mistakes, repeating, and refining are essential parts of the prompting process.
The team needed to adopt a growth mindset: understanding that there are no “wrong results,” only “unclear inputs.”
This awareness would pave the way for deeper collaboration between human and artificial intelligence, accelerating the adoption and professional use of Microsoft’s AI suite.
The process followed several key phases:
Pre-assessment survey: to understand participants’ starting level, expectations, and challenges.
Live workshop: essential to provide a strong initial boost and create a memorable, hands-on learning experience.
Live webinar: to kick off the internal advocacy process. Participants transitioned from learners to AI culture ambassadors within the company.
RESULTS
The results were outstanding.
The post-workshop survey showed a clear evolution:
Confidence in using AI tools increased from an average of 3/5 to 5/5.
All participants rated the training 5/5 for learning and usefulness.
Feedback highlighted “practical examples,” “hands-on experience,” and “a new way of thinking.”

AI Fluency is not about using tools—it’s about learning a new language.
By helping the Lactalis Spain Marketing team speak this language, MLC enabled a profound cultural shift: AI is no longer seen as just a technology, but as a collaborative partner.
